Tell me, am I to expect the same ritual humiliation as persisted during my previous visitation? It's not prejudice, it's fact!

As is your own ability to reach it. Yet, while I demonstrate willingness to listen, even to respect, you seem to regard me only with scorn.

[She has never been good at controlling herself, so it's an actual struggle to make herself take a slow breath.]

If I were to graduate, I'd have to sacrifice all I have left. I am not about to beg the Admiral to turn me into something unfamiliar, just so he can send me home to my fate all over again.

All the more reason for having this fate altered, I would think.
