I would like to know what you would view as appropriate discipline for what was done against your charge. He has yet to earn any special privilege; denying him such would achieve nothing. I don't think I'm the appropriate person to determine how to punish Hoffman, given my recent behavior.

Is what I have been told true? That he volunteered for the cells? That you assaulted, regardless?

Did he cause your treatment of him in any way?

Yes to all of the above.

Hoffman promised me he wouldn't harm Amanda if I made progress with her. Combined with other interactions I've had with him, and certain things said during that encounter...

Extortion, then... I see. You should have made me aware of this.

It does me no good to demand he apologises to Amanda when he, himself, is owed one in return. I ask that you do so in a public fashion, just as I had him do so for her.

I know not enough about your personal ways to judge further discipline than this.
