Text: Lessons
Different paths, different worlds... From what I read in the library, there exist any number of such examples gathered here, upon this voyage. And until given student to guide, I can do little more but refine my education while aboard ship.
But if there is one thing which puzzles me in the literature I find of other times and places, it is this: Why, for some of you, is the subject of magic treated with such disbelief?
'Tis a tool like any other... Can be felt, used, developed and controlled. Is it mere ignorance which prevents some from learning of it? Or perhaps something deeper?
After all, where so many desire power, it seems strange, indeed, not to harness the arcane.

Honestly, if we had magic in my world, I would have mastered it. Instead, I spent my time learning about chemistry, a magic of it's own I doubt your world knows much about.

Of course, it may be simply that magic is not usable for those of different worlds. There is no way for them to find it, if it exists there.

Things do not divest themselves of their natural properties.

Seems the most unlikeliest of things, for an entire world to possess no practitioners of the arcane.

My [Father AUGH PRETENDING right] guardian would no doubt be much happier there.
